Global Village'16

  Global Village was in open air museum Chernitvsi on 31 August. There were stands of countries like; Turkey, Egypt, Tunisia, China, Korea, Mexico, German, Netherlands. In Turkish stand, there was traditional foods like, çig köfte, lokum, leblebi. Also there was traditional drinks, sherbet and Turkish coffee.  In Korea stand, there was also some traditional foods and sticks which is they use for eating like spoon. Every country prepared some traditional foods. Also some countries showed their traditional clothes like, Egypt and Bahrain. Ukrainian persons were interested in all countries. After that all countries had performance like traditional dance or songs. After the performances,there was some performance of bands. Everybody had enjoyable times. Thank you for all Aiesec Chernivtsi.

Hotin Castle

  Hotin castle is the one of the most important castle in Ukraine. It is very historical and its geography is the beautiful. Hotin castle two hours away from Chernitvsi. In the castle there is instrument of torture room.  For example, neck snares, iron hook, handsaw and suspended cage. Also there is one room included guns and war clothes and historical moneys. When you are going to upstairs you can see the pictures of some kings who had the castle in history. Also in the middle of the castle there is a water well. It is still working. There is really adorable place and I recommend everybody to visiting the castle.

Chernitvsi Museum of Art

  Style of modern architecture of the museum. All colons from 1901 and there are many cultural painting,especially on the ceiling. When you go to the upstairs on the left side there is a room. This room  includes all church arts. Usually bohemian topics on the pictures. For example, mother and child most known topic. Saint Nicholas was the important person for Chernitvsi, so in the room also there is a portrait of him. In the room also many pictures about Jesus's last moments. Also there are many pictures about last judgement and heaven and hell. The other room includes fine arts. For example a picture of Italy river, a picture of a girl with an instrument. Also a room for only one famous painter from Chernitvsi. His name is Kokhanovsha Agusta. Another room include classical painting. In the past, Ukraine included Soviet Union,so in the room there are many pictures of social realism. After Soviet Union, artists had opportunities for developing themselves. So these pictures have more characteristics. For example, if pictures have more white blanks, it means the picture has more different characters. Also in the museum, there are modern art rooms, abstract art room and fundamental art room.

In this library nearly many books from australia. Also every year ten thousand books add to the library. In the library there are lots of newspaper and magazines from 1885. Visitors usually wonder about newspapers of Soviet republic. Visitors can find them in the library. In 1852 

, when rich people came to the Chernitvsi they donated for building a library. Also after the National University, the city had needed a library. So every year library had more and more books. All furnitures from 1938. There were some restoration, however furnitures did not change. There are 3 million books, however newspapers and magazines were not calculated. In the library there are 2 big and 1 small reading rooms. There is a rooms which name is raring books. These books published nearly 1200 years ago. Some rare books are only in the this library. Also the library has some historical books from Romania and Australia. Usually books are translated for 15 languages. Rare books are in the National  Heritage of Ukraine. There are some exhibition for children books that include learning alphabet or fairytale.
